Biomin® Iron contains nitrogen and chelated iron for soil and/or foliar applications. It is completely bioavailable and non-phytotoxic to plants when applied in accordance to directions. Biomin® Iron is designed to prevent and correct iron deficiency and to boost crops during critical or fast growing periods. Biomin® Iron may be applied with nitrogen fertilizers.

General Recommendations:
Biomin® Iron can be applied to fruit trees, field crops, vegetables, greenhouse crops, potatoes, grapes, citrus, and ornamental gardens.

How does Biomin® Iron 18% Powder help?

Soil Application
BIOMIN IRON may be applied before or at planting through irrigation water, as banding or broadcast. The application rate is 1.5-5.0 lb./ac. (1.7 -5.6 kg/ha) depending on crop, soil conditions and application methods. For maintenance, 1.5 lb./ac. (1.7 kg/ha) are usually recommended.

Foliar Application

• Field And Row Crops
Apply 1.0-1.5 lb./ac. (1.1 -1.7 kg/ha) of BIOMIN IRON when crops are 6-12 in. (15-30 cm) high or when deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat application 2-4 weeks later.

• Vegetables And Potatoes
Apply 1.0-1.5 lb./ac. (1.1 -1.7 kg/ha) of BIOMIN IRON at about 2-4 weeks after emergence or if deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat the application 2-3 weeks later.

• Greenhouse Crops
Apply 1.0-1.5 lb./ ac. (1.1 -1.7 kg/ha) of BIOMIN IRON 2-3 weeks after emergence or transplanting, or when iron deficiencies first appear. Repeat the application every one or two weeks.

• Fruit Trees And Grapes
Apply 1.0-1.5 lb./ac. (1.1 -1.7 kg/ha) of BIOMIN IRON in early spring when new leaves emerge or when deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat the application 2-4 weeks later.

BIOMIN IRON is best applied when plants are in an active growing stage, after irrigation or rainfall. For foliar application, it dilute it with at least 200 times of water. For best results and more specific recommendations, contact your nearest distributor. Always perform a compatibility test before mixing any products with BIOMIN IRON.

  • Store in a cool, dry place. 
  • Do not reuse or refill the container. 
  • If empty: Dispose of it in the trash or recycle if available.

  • Never pour unused products down any drain.
